Run Free for Ron Reed- Trail 5K

With your help, we raised $6,000 for the scholarship in Ron's name! Below is the course map for the race
"Run Free for Ron Reed" is a FREE ~5 km (3.1 mile) trail run/walk in Cortland, NY. This race is in memory of Ronald William Reed who passed away unexpectedly on September 22, 2016. This 5K combines Mr. Reed's love for running with his passion for the outdoors. The race takes place through the trails at Lime Hollow Center for Environment and Culture. Donations will be collected and there will be a 50/50 raffle to benefit a scholarship in Ron's name to support teacher and environmental education.
There is NO COST to run in this race. The FREE race registration includes entry to the race, a custom race bib, a bottle of water, post-race snacks, and handouts from our sponsors. We will also have raffles, prizes, and great giveaways! *The free race registration does not include a t-shirt*. (T-shirt purchase is not required to run in the race). Event t-shirts can be purchased during registration for $10. ** PRICE OF T-SHIRT INCREASES TO $15 on 4/08 ** Here is the design for the t-shirts for the race! The race event t-shirts are Grey Gildan 50% Cotton 50% Polyester short sleeve shirts with a four-color print logo on the front and a one color print with sponsors on the back! We are also selling an athletic material, long-sleeved version of the shirt on either a white or a grey athletic long-sleeve t-shirt with the same four-color print logo on the front and a blank back. Please see below for those t-shirts ALL proceeds from the t-shirt sales will join the donations and 50/50 raffle and go to the scholarship in Ron Reed's name. This race will not be officially timed. A race clock will be displayed at the finish so you can see your time, but no results will be displayed.
